In this event, Mai Morita, a Sake Ambassador and Miss SAKE who has represented Japan both domestically and internationally, will gently introduce you to the basics of sake.
Even if you're new to sake, the session is designed to be easy and enjoyable!

After the lecture, you’ll have the opportunity to taste and compare four carefully selected types of sake.Savor the differences in flavor and aroma, and find your personal favorite!

As a special, one-of-a-kind experience, you’ll get to design your own mini "komodaru" (traditional sake barrel) filled with real sake.Create your very own original sake barrel—perfect as a cute and memorable souvenir!

Fill your hand-painted komodaru with your favorite sake from the tasting — and take it home as your very own mini sake barrel!
The inner container is made of glass, so it’s reusable and also makes a beautiful decorative piece.

Craft Sake Experience at Konohanano Brewery, Asakusa

As you step inside, you may notice the gentle aroma of koji in the air and the quiet presence of fermentation at work. In this space where traditional brewing techniques meet modern creativity, you will enjoy a guided tasting while experiencing the atmosphere in which sake is born.

After the evening session, you are welcome to stay and enjoy food and additional drinks at the brewery at your leisure. (Additional charges apply.)

Mai Morita

WSET SAKE L3 / CEO of Fam Lab, Inc.

Mai Morita is from Saitama Prefecture and serves as the first-ever Miss SAKE, acting as an ambassador for the sake industry. Mai has conducted sake promotion activities not only at events across Japan but also in 11 cities across 7 countries, including Monaco, Brazil, the United States, and France.
Recently, Mai have been running the "SAKE TERRACE" project, aiming to incorporate sake into the cultural regeneration of the Toyosu area. Connecting sake breweries and consumers is Mai’s life’s mission, and she continues to engage in various initiatives.
